THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS ONLY OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF MICHIGAN.

DETAILS OF THE PRIZES AND HOW TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES ARE CONTAINED IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES.

Eligibility: The “RENEWED $25,000 SPRING HOME MAKEOVER SWEEPSTAKES” (the "Sweepstakes") is open to legal residents of Michigan during the Entry Period who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. The following are not eligible for the Sweepstakes: Employees of any company or any individual involved with the design, production, execution, or distribution of the Sweepstakes, and their immediate family members (meaning spouses, parents, siblings, and children living in the same household). Employees includes officers and directors. Proof of legal United States residency, age, and eligibility verification may be required.

SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“EST”) on March 14, 2025, and ends at 9:00 a.m. EST on May 17, 2025. Mail-in entries must be received by 11:59 pm EST on May 15, 2025.

HOW TO ENTER: There are three ways to enter the Sweepstakes: online purchase, free mail-in entry, free entry by referral. The choice of entry method will not affect an entrant’s chances of winning.

(a) Purchase Entry: Visit www.renewedhms.org complete the online entry form and make payment.

(b) Free Mail-In Entry: To enter the Sweepstakes without a purchase, please print the following information on a 3”x5” card: the words “Renewed’s Spring Home Makeover Sweepstakes,” your first and last name, date of birth, address (no P.O. boxes accepted), city, state, zip code, telephone number, email address, and the words “I agree to the Official Rules from Renewed.” Then mail the completed 3”x5” card in a stamped business envelope to: Renewed 1100 W, McNichols, Detroit MI 48221. Each mail-in card will receive one entry into the Sweepstakes. All mail-in entries must be received by 11:59 pm EST on May 15, 2025.

(c) Free additional entry by referrals: Refer the sweepstakes to friends—when four entries list you as a referral, you'll receive an additional entry. There’s no limit to the number of entries you can earn. You must have a purchased online entry or a free mail-in entry to be eligible.

Entries that are lost, late, incomplete, illegible, corrupted, mechanically reproduced, falsified, mutilated, damaged, altered or otherwise irregular, misdirected entries, or entries not received for any other reason will be void and disqualified at Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion.

PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”)

A total of three (3) winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries to receive the prize packages listed below. One (1) winner will be selected per prize package:

· Grand Prize: $25,000 in furniture, $2,500 in appliances, $2,500 cash

· Second Place Prize: $5,000 in furniture.

· Third Place Prize: $2,500 in appliance

· Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged or redeemed for cash. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at its sole discretion.

Minimum Ticket Requirement & 50/50 Prize Contingency

If fewer than 1,400 tickets are sold by the sweepstakes deadline, the sweepstakes will convert to a 50/50 cash prize, where the prize distribution will be as follows:

· Grand Prize Winner: $1,000 minimum or 50% of total ticket sales minus $750 (whichever is greater).

· Second Place Winner: $500

· Third Place Winner: $250

In this scenario, no physical prize packages will be awarded. Instead, winners will receive their respective cash prizes based on total ticket sales.

PRIZES WILL BE ACCEPTED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE). Sponsor and sweepstake partners have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to a prize, including express warranties. Winner will not be obligated to purchase any other sweepstake partner products or services. Except where prohibited by law, by participating in the Random Drawing, Entrants indemnify, release and hold harmless Sponsor and sweepstake partners from losses or damages of any kind, including without limitation, death and bodily injury, resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the awarding, delivery, acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of the prize resulting from participating in this Random Drawing. Entrant acknowledges and agrees that Sponsor has not arranged for nor carries any insurance of any kind for the benefit of Entrant or that of Entrant’s heirs, executors and administrators relative to Entrant’s use of the prize awarded to Entrant; and that Entrant is solely responsible for obtaining and paying for any insurance relative to the prize awarded to Entrant.

Renewed reserves the right to make any and all prize substitutions Winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes. Sponsor makes no representations regarding the tax liability associated with any prize, and winner is advised to seek counsel regarding any tax liabilities associated with his/her prize.

RANDOM DRAW & ODDS OF WINNING: On May 17, 2025, a random draw will be conducted from all entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Winners will be notified by email and/or one phone call (at the Sponsor’s discretion), using the information provided in the entrant’s Information, within 24 hours of winner selection.

Winner Notification and Verification: Winners will be notified by phone and email address by the Sponsor on or before May 19, 2025. Awarding of a prize is subject to verification of a potential Winner’s eligibility and full compliance with these Official Rules, in the sole discretion of the Sponsor. To claim a Prize, Sponsor may require Winner to complete, sign, and return Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release/Publicity Release forms, and other applicable documents, if necessary, which may require a social security number, postmarked within five (5) days of the date on the notification. At Sponsor’s discretion, Winner may be required to produce photo ID or some other form of proper identification to claim any Prize.

If a potential Winner cannot be contacted, is disqualified, fails to timely execute and return any required forms, or if the Prize notification is returned as undeliverable, an alternate Winner will be selected. If by reason or printing or other error, more Prizes are claimed than the number of Prizes set forth in these Official Rules, a random drawing will be held to award the advertised number of Prizes in the relevant category. Under no circumstances will more than the advertised number of Prizes be awarded

PUBLICITY RELEASE: Except where prohibited, acceptance of the prize constitutes winner’s consent that his or her name, likeness, voice and/or biographical data may be used for advertising and promotional purposes without limitation and without additional notice, compensation, or consent.

ENTRANTS’ AGREEMENT TO ABIDE BY OFFICIAL RULES: By entering, entrant agrees that s/he has read, accepted, and will abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and agrees that any dispute with regard to the conduct of this Sweepstakes, rule interpretation, or the awarding of the prize shall be submitted to Sponsor, whose decision shall be binding and final.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY: BY ENTERING, ENTRANT AGREES TO RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS SPONSOR AND ITS PARTNERS, AND RETAILERS, AFFILIATES, SALES REPRESENTATIVES, AGENCIES, WHOLESALERS, DISTRIBUTORS AND PROMOTIONAL AND OTHER VENDOR AGENCIES INVOLVED IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, THEIR RESPECTIVE PARENT COMPANIES, AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, SERVICE AGENCIES, INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS, AND THE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS AND REPRESENTATIVES OF ANY OF THE ABOVE ORGANIZATIONS (“RELEASEES”) FROM ANY INJURY, LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PERSON, INCLUDING DEATH, OR PROPERTY DUE IN-WHOLE OR IN-PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, TO THE ACCEPTANCE OR USE/MISUSE OF THE PRIZE, PARTICIPATION IN ANY SWEEPSTAKES-RELATED ACTIVITY, OR PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Releasees are not responsible for, and each entrant releases and holds harmless the Releasees from and against, any and all losses, damages, actions, demands, liabilities, or claims of whatever nature or kind arising out of, or in connection with a prize or any portion thereof or this Sweepstakes. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Releasees will not be responsible for any typographical or other error in the printed or other related material related of this Sweepstakes, the administration of the Sweepstakes, the selection of entrants, in the announcement of the prize, including erroneous appearance of qualification for the prize, any entries or entrants disqualified for any of the reasons stated in these Official Rules, or any loss, damage or claims caused by, or in any way related to the prize or the Sweepstakes itself.

WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND/OR CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGE FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW AND TO BAN OR DISQUALIFY SUCH PERSON FROM THIS AND FUTURE SWEEPSTAKES.

Disputes: Entrants and Winner agree that any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes and the Prizes awarded shall be resolved solely by Sponsor, shall be final and binding, and without resort to any form of class action.

CHANGES TO SWEEPSTAKES, OFFICIAL RULES, ETC.: Under no circumstances will more than the stated number of prizes be awarded. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to modify, cancel, or suspend this Sweepstakes, or to amend the Official Rules at any time, without prior individual notice, should any factor interfere with the administration, security, or proper play of this Sweepstakes as contemplated by these Official Rules. If for any reason Sponsor is prevented from continuing with this Sweepstakes, or the integrity and/or feasibility of the Sweepstakes is undermined by any event including but not limited to fire, flood, pandemic, epidemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, war (declared or undeclared), terrorist threat or activity, or any federal, state, provincial/territorial or local government law, order or regulation, order of any court or jurisdiction, Sponsor shall have the right, but not the obligation, in its sole and absolute discretion, to award the prize from among all entries received to date.

DISPUTES/CHOICE OF LAW: EACH ENTRANT AGREES THAT (1) ANY AND ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS, AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS SWEEPSTAKES, OR ANY PRIZE AWARDED, SHALL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION, AND ANY JUDICIAL PROCEEDING SHALL TAKE PLACE IN A FEDERAL OR STATE COURT IN MICHIGAN; (2) ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS, AND AWARDS SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED, INCLUDING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH ENTERING THIS SWEEPSTAKE, BUT IN NO EVENT ATTORNEYS’ FEES; AND (3) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ENTRANT BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN AWARDS FOR, AND ENTRANT HEREBY WAIVES ALL RIGHTS TO CLAIM, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES AND ANY OTHER DAMAGES, OTHER THAN FOR ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES, AND ANY AND ALL RIGHTS TO HAVE DAMAGES MULTIPLIED OR OTHERWISE INCREASED. ALL ISSUES AND QUESTIONS CONCERNING THE CONSTRUCTION, VALIDITY, INTERPRETATION AND ENFORCEABILITY OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES, OR THE RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF ENTRANT AND THE SPONSOR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS SWEEPSTAKES SHALL BE GOVERNED BY, AND CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN, WITHOUT GIVING EFFECT TO ANY CHOICE OF LAW OR CONFLICT OF LAW RULES OR PROVISIONS OF ANY OTHER JURISDICTION THAT WOULD CAUSE THE APPLICATION OF THE LAWS OF ANY JURISDICTION OTHER THAN THOSE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN.

RULES GOVERN: The Sweepstakes will be run per these Official Rules, which shall prevail, govern and control in the event of any inconsistency with any Sweepstakes-related materials.

PRIVACY: Personally identifiable information that is submitted by entrants as part of this Sweepstakes will be used to administer the Sweepstakes, select the Prize winner, and fulfill the Prizes, and will be treated in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.

WINNERS’ LIST: For the name of the winner, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Renewed 1100 W. McNichols, Detroit, MI 48221. Requests must be received no later than 90 days after the conclusion of the Sweepstakes.
